Top 4 Western Breakfast Spots in Bangkok, Thailand

When I’m in Bangkok and craving a proper Western breakfast, there are a few spots that never miss. Whether it’s fluffy pancakes, a solid avocado toast, or a full-on Texas toast situation, these places always deliver.

So, if you’re in Bangkok and looking for a comforting, home-style breakfast, these are my absolute go-to spots. But listen, I’m only sharing this because you’re here reading my blog—so don’t go spilling the secrets to everybody unless they’re worthy!

1. Babyccino’s – Italian-Inspired Brunch & Coffee

With two locations (Ekkamai & Siam Discovery, 1st floor), Babyccino’s is that spot when you want an Italian-inspired breakfast that balances sweet and savory perfectly.

What makes it a fave?

✔ The best sweet & savory breakfast selection

✔ Great coffee—like, really great

✔ Amazing desserts & lunch options if you want to stay past breakfast

It’s a whole vibe whether you’re team pastry & cappuccino or need a full breakfast spread.

2. Luka’s – Earthy, Laid-Back Brunch Spot

If you love a cozy, earthy ambiance, Luka’s is where you need to be. They have two locations:

• Whittayu Embassy Road – This one has a pool in the back and outdoor seating. It’s perfect for Bangkok’s low season, but in the summer? Mosquitoes will humble you real quick.

• Silom Road – No pool, but still has that chill, plant-filled aesthetic. There’s outdoor seating in front, plus indoor seating on the main floor & upstairs. Bonus: there’s a home decor boutique inside if you’re in the mood to shop.

Menu vibes:

✔ Light & fresh – avocado toast, smoothie bowls, and brunch classics

✔ The Silom location has a heartier menu with more options

3. Breakfast Story – The Cure for Homesickness

This place saved me when I first moved to Bangkok. I was so food homesick, just craving something that felt like home, and Breakfast Story came through.

What’s on the menu?

✔ Fluffy pancakes with real maple syrup

✔ Texas toast & tuna melt sandwiches

✔ Brownies, cookies, and even poutine for my Canadian friends (though, word on the street is their poutine isn’t exactly authentic—but listen, I loved it)

And let’s talk about the poutine—they serve it over a bed of crispy potatoes with cheese curds, and it’s absolute perfection. 10/10 recommend.

4. Kay’s Boutique – My #1 French Toast Spot

If I had to choose one place in Bangkok to get breakfast, it’s Kay’s Boutique—hands down. They have multiple locations, but my go-tos are:

• Central Embassy (Top Floor, Food Court) – Quick, convenient, and just as good as the main location.

• Ekkamai – The vibe. The ambiance is so luxe, tucked inside a community of businesses that includes an omakase sushi bar, nail salon, and more. If your driver isn’t paying attention, they will miss it.

What I Order Every. Single. Time.

✔ French toast with ice cream over crushed pistachios & caramelized banana (pure heaven)

✔ Traditional breakfast bowl – eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach, potatoes, salt & pepper (when I’m pretending to be healthy)

✔ Caramel macchiato – because of course

Their soups & scallion toast also deserve an honorable mention—don’t sleep on them!

These are my absolute favorite breakfast spots in Bangkok—every single time I’m in the city, I hit at least one of these. If you’re ever in Bangkok and craving a solid Western breakfast, you won’t be disappointed.

But like I said, these are top-tier gems. Keep them lowkey. Only share with people who deserve luxury experiences.

Until next time,

Xo,

Evie
